ALPHABETICAL ORDER, BY LAST NAME


JEFF HALL
(Los Angeles, CA)  After getting his degree in communication from Stanford University, Jeff started his journalistic career at the Kansas City Star as a cub reporter.  Upon graduation from Harvard Business School, he returned to The Star, rising to VP Marketing, overseeing circulation and advertising sales.  After a one-year stint as a White House Fellow, he joined the Los Angeles Times as VP Marketing Services, heading up marketing research, promotion, ad agency relations and all in-house creative activities.  He was later promoted to president of the Valley & Ventura County editions, where he led all business operations of these two regional editions.  In 1991 Hall went out on his own and started Westside Today LLC, a group of six community newsmagazines and a website (www.WestsideToday.com).  Hall serves as CEO, Editor & Publisher.

KENT HALLIBURTON (San Francisco, CA)  Kent is a quickly rising sales leader in the solar installation industry growing  in four years from an intern to Sales Director at Real Goods Solar, now the third largest installation company.  Previously, he worked in the residential and small commercial sector for Borrego Solar and REC Solar where he developed sales teams and offices in both New Jersey and the Bay Area. Kent understands the marketplace and the necessary components to make an installation business profitable. Kent graduated summa cum laude with a Computer Engineering degree from Cal Poly. 

TERRI JORDAN (Albany, NY/ Boston, MA)  Terri is a Corporate Development executive for Konarka Technologies, an organic PV manufacturer headquartered in Lowell, MA.  With over 20 years of experience in innovation, she has held both technical and commercial positions with increasing responsibility at companies ranging from Fortune 5 to start-ups.  She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from University of Connecticut.  With a career-long passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility she recently left the plastics industry to pursue a career in solar. She is committed to working with Konarka on their next phase of growth, and is equally enthusiastic about getting involved in volunteer and policy initiatives that forward the mission of creating clean and sustainable energy solutions for the future. Early in her career, Terri performed research at GE's global research center, leading technology initiatives in new materials, optical properties of polymers, crystalline materials, and structure-property relationships.  Later, she moved to commercial positions at GE, including an industrial marketing position and then became Director of Marketing for Victrex plc, a global materials manufacturer based in the UK.

CHARLENE LANGLAND (Los Angeles, CA)
  
Charlene has over 15 years of broad-ranging, highly successful experience managing sales territories.   She was with Sharp Electronics Solar Energy Group for four years, as Manager of Contractor Sales and then Manager of New Construction Sales.  Since leaving Sharp she has been providing sales and marketing consulting services to solar companies.  Prior to Sharp, she managed sales in the IT industry.  Charlene is now interested in more fervently pursuing the "people" portion of the triple bottom line.

ADAM TEITELBAUM (San Mateo, CA) Adam is the founder of Adam’s Organic Coffees in San Francisco, the first all organic coffee company in Northern California. He came to realize that if everyday consumer items could be made with both, sustainability of the planet as well as the bottom line as priorities, this would be a successful business model for the future. In 1998 he co-founded the Organic Coffee Association (ORCA) and his coffee was distributed in 23 western states. Adam’s Organic Coffees was acquired by Peerless Coffee and Tea of Oakland, CA in 2002. As a pioneer in the category of organic coffee, and the creator of a blue chip brand, Adam managed the brand for Peerless for several years. Adam sees the solar industry as a potential major source of clean sustainable, and renewable, alternative energy that can contribute to a sustainable bottom line as well as a cleaner planet. Recently, he has been a solar sales consultant with Owens Electric & Solar and Solar City in the Bay Area.  He is also involved in establishing a permanent structure for the San Mateo Farmers Market and volunteers at Sustainable San Mateo County, a local non profit.

ORION WALKER (Hopland, CA) Orion is the Events Manager for the Solar Living Institute. At the Solar Living Institute he has expanded professional solar training programs, produced a green career conference and coordinated workshops and booth presence at a variety of solar and sustainability conferences. Previously, Orion helped to launch a green building start-up, traveled and studied extensively in developing countries, and built his own ecologically designed house in Northern California. He holds an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University and a BA in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College.
